Israeli sources reported Saturday that a guard, working at the Ma’aleh Adumim settlement, east of occupied East Jerusalem, suffered mild injuries after being stabbed. The attacker fled the scene while the Israeli Police and the Army opened an investigation and searched the area. No arrests were made at the time of this report.
Israeli daily,Haaretz, reported that the attacker “spoke Arabic” and ran towards a nearby Palestinian town. No further details were mentioned.
Following the attack, the army invaded Al Ezariyya town to search for the assailant.
Two months ago, a seventeen year old settler from the illegal Ramot settlement was stabbed and suffered serious injuries. Two weeks after the attack, Israeli soldiers arrested a Palestinian man, allegedly the attacker, from Beit Iksa town, northwest of Jerusalem.
