The Israeli Prison Administration moved, on Tuesday, hunger-striking female detainee, Hana’ Ash-Shalabi, to the security prisoners branch of the Ha-Sharon Israeli prison, after she was previously moved to the section where prisoners held on criminal charges are detained. Omar Ash-Shalabi, the brother of Hana’ told the Palestinian WAFA news agency that the International Red Cross managed to visit her on Tuesday, and that she informed the Red Cross that she was moved back to the section in question.
He said that she believes that measure was taken in an attempt to force her to end the hunger-strike she started more than 13 days ago. She is currently in need of medical glasses.
The Red Cross informed her family that she has high spirit, and that she is determined to continue her hunger-strike, until the Administrative Detention order that was served against her without charges is voided.
It is worth mentioning that Hana’ will be having a court hearing on Wednesday as the court will be looking into her case, the Red Cross said.
Hana’s was taken prisoner only four months after she was release under the Prisoner-Swap deal that was mediated between Israel and the resistance in Gaza.
