The Israeli military stepped up its presence and military actions in Hebron on the fourth day of Ramadan in a tactic which is often used during the Muslim holy month.Homes were raided in the old city of Hebron where Saed al-Qarqi, 18, was taken away by the army as was 22-year-old Mohammad Haribat, in al-Tanaka village south of Durah.
Security sources reported that Israeli forces increased their presence in Durah and Ra’s al-Jourah neighbourhood in Hebron, placing military checkpoints at the entrances of the city and roads connecting the northern and southern ones.
