The Palestine News Network (PNN) reported that eight Israeli tanks and four armored military bulldozers invaded, on Thursday at dawn, Abasan town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and fired smoke bombs and rounds of live ammunition.PNN said that Palestinian fighters fired several mortars at the invading tanks and army bulldozers. Israeli drones were heard and seen flying over the area.
In related news, a resident of Al-Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza, was injured when a grenade he carried detonated.
Local sources reported that the 23-year-old young man was moved to surgery at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
PNN said that a resident was injured, on Wednesday, when a bomb he carried detonated in his hand, while on Tuesday a resident was killed in a similar accident.
