Israeli soldiers invaded, late on Wednesday at night, the al-Yamoun town, in the northern West bank district of Jenin, and kidnapped two children. The army also invaded a number of nearby towns.Media sources said the soldiers kidnapped Maisara Ahmad Mahameed, 16, and Ahmad Mohammad â€˜Abahra, 15 years of age, and took them to an unknown destination.
Several army vehicles also invaded Yaâ€™bad town, and Deir Abu Daâ€™if village, and patrolled their streets before withdrawing.
In addition, soldiers installed sand barriers, blocking three dirt roads leading to Yaâ€™bad town, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources said the soldiers also installed roadblocks on the Jenin-Tulkarem road, especially near Umreeha village, close to the Mabo Dotan illegal Israeli colony, built on Palestinian lands belonging to residents from Yaâ€™bad and â€˜Arraba.
The army prevented dozens of villagers from entering their olive orchards in the area.
