The Palestinian ministry of Information-Government Media Office (GMO) released, on Monday, a report documenting Israeli violations committed against Palestinian journalists andtaking place in the last month (since the beginning of ‘Jerusalem Intifada’, from 1st, Oct. to 31, Oct, 2015).According to Al Ray, the report cited 89 violations against Palestinian journalists including shootings with live and rubber bullets, physical assault, arresting or being banned from covering news.

The GMO pointed out to the UN Security Council Resolution NO.(2222) which protects the right of the journalist.
All members of the United Nations, including the Israeli occupation, have adopted it. Therefore, the demand for complete adherence to the resolution and to hold the Israeli occupation responsible for crimes committed against Palestinian journalists.
