Israeli soldiers invaded, on Wednesday at dawn, several Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank, searched many homes and kidnapped at least sixteen Palestinians.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that soldiers invaded Huwwara town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped five teenagers, identified as Yazan Tareq, Mahmoud Fares, Yahya Ismael, Yousef Saud and Mohammad Saud.
It added that the army also invaded Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, violently searched many homes and interrogated families, before kidnapping three Palestinians identified as Issam Abu Jabal, Tawfiq Shalabi and Mustafa Tubasi.
Tubasi is the brother of Islam, who was killed by the Israel army, on September 17, 2013, and Sa’id, who is imprisoned by Israel after being sentenced to 21 life terms.
The soldiers also invaded Teqoua’ town, near Bethlehem, stormed and searched homes, and kidnapped Mohannad Hajahja and Ahmad Khaled al-‘Amour. Another Palestinian, identified as Hussein Abu Aker, was kidnapped from his home in ‘Aida refugee camp.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the at-Tour town, east of occupied Jerusalem, and kidnapped Yousef Abu al-Hawa and Amir Abu Jom’a.
In the southern West Bank district of Hebron, the soldiers also stormed and ransacked homes and kidnapped Abdul-Rahim Mahmoud Thaher, from Abu Neim town, east of Hebron, Ayman Yousef at-Till, 20, from ath-Thaheriyya town, south of Hebron, in addition to Ahmad Raed Abu Ajamiyya, 23, from his home in Hebron city.
In Ethna town, west of Hebron, the soldiers invaded, at least, one home, and searched it.
The soldiers also invaded the al-Biereh city and Silwad town, in the Ramallah and al-Biereh District, and searched many homes.
In related news, Israeli navy ships opened fire on many Palestinian fishing boats, in Gaza territorial waters, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
