Israeli forces carried out multiple invasions across the occupied West Bank on Monday, abducting at least nine Palestinians and shooting one, in Ramallah, occupied Jerusalem, and the Tulkarem governorate.
In the town of Attil, north of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli troops launched a wide-scale incursion at dawn, abducting four Palestinians; Abboud Burhan Sweirki, Abdullah Muawiya Odah, Mahmoud Dirar Abu Khalil, and Mahmoud Al-Najjar.
The invasion involved extensive house searches and a heavy military presence, including armored vehicles and foot patrols.
Witnesses reported that dozens of young men were rounded up, handcuffed, and taken to the home of Saifuddin Ammous in the northern neighborhood. Israeli forces seized the property and converted it into a makeshift interrogation center, where several detainees were reportedly beaten.
These violation form part of Israel’s ongoing military campaign in the Tulkarem governorate, including the Nur Shams and Tulkarem refugee camps. The campaign, now in its 260th consecutive day, has involved daily invasion, mass abductions, home seizures, and repeated assaults on civilians and property.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, Israeli soldiers shot a young man with live ammunition in the leg outside Ofer military prison, west of the city.
The shooting occurred as Israeli forces dispersed families and supporters gathered to await the release of Palestinian detainees.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted a resident after storming him home in Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) identified the abducted Palestinian as Ahmad Al-Ghoul, head of the Silwan Sports Club.
Early Monday, Israeli occupation forces invaded al-Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, storming dozens of homes, assaulting, injuring and detaining many Palestinians.
