Early Monday, Israeli occupation forces invaded al-Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, storming dozens of homes, assaulting, injuring and detaining many Palestinians.
Medical sources confirmed that several Palestinians sustained bruises and injuries, including Abdul-Fattah and Montasser Najjar, the brothers of Amjad al-Najjar, director of the Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, whose family home was violently stormed and ransacked.
The soldiers detained numerous residents for hours, subjected them to field interrogations, and released them only after prolonged mistreatment.
Additionally, Israeli forces invaded multiple villages, towns, and neighborhoods across Hebron city, storming and ransacking many homes.
Earlier Monday, Israeli occupation forces launched a wave of invasions and abductions across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian towns, refugee camps, and the homes of detainees’ families in a coordinated campaign of repression timed to coincide with the scheduled release of political prisoners under a ceasefire agreement.
At dawn on Monday, the invaded the town of Deir Istiya, west of Salfit in the central West Bank, launching a wide-scale abduction campaign that targeted multiple families as they stormed homes, vandalized property, and abducted 14 Palestinian civilians, including fathers and their sons.
