Israeli forces carried out a mass abduction campaign on Wednesday during their ongoing invasion of Tammun town and Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, confirmed that Israeli troops continue storming and ransacking homes in Tammun, abducting around ten Palestinians, most of whom are former political prisoners, including one woman. Additionally, two young men were abducted in Al-Far’a camp.
Israeli forces also converted a house near Tammun’s entrance into a field interrogation center, forcibly evicting several residents and turning their homes into military outposts.
Since midnight, Israeli troops have maintained their invasion of Tammun and Al-Far’a, deploying military patrols and infantry units, carrying out violent home invasions, and destroying roads and infrastructure with bulldozers in both areas. The invasions were still ongoing at the time of this report.
The Tubas Directorate of Education announced a delay in school hours in Tammoun and Al-Far’a until 9:00 AM due to the ongoing Israeli invasion.
Additionally, official institutions across Tubas Governorate will also begin operations at 9:00 AM, as authorities adjust schedules in response to the security situation.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Husan village, west of Bethlehem, and Beit Fajjar, south of the city, before storming and violently searching many homes.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the towns of Abwein, north of Ramallah, and Silwad, east of Ramallah, in the central West bank, at dawn on Wednesday.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers stormed multiple Palestinian homes, conducting violent searches and interrogations.
The invasions are part of ongoing military violations across the occupied West Bank, where Israeli forces continue to target Palestinian communities through home raids, abductions, and destruction of property.
