On Wednesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Jericho city, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank, and shot a child.

Media sources reported that several military vehicles invaded the city, closing streets and intersections, which led to protests.

The soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, wounding a 13-year-old child with a live round in the leg in the Al-Arab neighborhood.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) medics treated the child before rushing him to a hospital in Jericho.

Additionally, the army invaded the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp, north of Jericho, before withdrawing.

In related news, Israeli soldiers carried out a mass abduction campaign on Wednesday during their ongoing invasion of Tammun town and Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.
