On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded and bulldozed Palestinian farmlands northwest of Salfit, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources confirmed that the soldiers targeted farmlands between Kifl Hares and Hares towns, northwest of Salfit, and closed off the area.

Omar Samara, a member of the Hares Village Council, stated that the soldiers bulldozed and uprooted large sections of agricultural land owned by several families in the town.

Samara added that this attack is part of ongoing Israeli violations aimed at annexing more Palestinian land to build and expand illegal colonies established on stolen Palestinian property in the area.

It is worth noting that, in recent years, Hares has witnessed escalating Israeli violations, including the bulldozing, uprooting, and annexation of Palestinian lands.

These actions have directly impacted local residents, many of whom rely on farming as their primary—and often sole—source of livelihood.

On Tuesday, groups of paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a car repair facility and caused significant damage, in addition to blocking a main road and bulldozing lands, in the Ramallah governorate, located in the central West Bank.

On Monday, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers stormed the Arab Al-Mleihat Bedouin community, northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
