On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured five Palestinians during the weekly procession against Israel’s illegal colonies in Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Dozens of Palestinians gathered at the town’s center, carrying Palestinian flags, and marched, chanting for ending the illegal Israeli occupation, the release of all detainees, liberation, and independence.
The soldiers attacked the protesters with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Medical sources confirmed the soldiers shot five Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinians hold weekly processions every Friday and Saturday in Kufur Qaddoum, demanding the army to reopen the town’s main entrance, blockaded 19 years ago to allow easy access to illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
