Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Friday morning, a young Palestinian man near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron; the army claims the soldiers located a knife after searching him. The soldiers also kidnapped one Palestinian near Jenin.
The Israeli army said the soldiers stopped the Palestinian near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in Hebron city, “after he approached a military roadblock,” and that the soldiers searched him and located a knife on his body.
Although the Palestinian did not attempt to attack the soldiers, the military said, “he intended to carry out a stabbing attack against the soldiers at the roadblock.”
On Friday at dawn, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Taybeh village, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, searched many homes and kidnapped one Palestinian, identified as ‘Ala Ahmad Mahmoud Jabarin, 24.
