Israeli forces opened fire, on Tuesday, at Palestinian-owned farmlands in the central besieged Gaza Strip, according to the Ma’an News Agency.
Correspondent for Ma’an stated that Israeli forces opened fire towards farmlands located east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp without causing any casualties.
They added that a drone was seen dropping tear gas canisters into farmers’ fields east of Deir al-Balah city and Al-Bureij refugee camp, causing the farmers to flee from their own lands.
Occupation forces frequently harass Palestinian farmers in the Gaza Strip and fishermen off the coast of Gaza, which authorities have kept under a brutal land, air, and sea blockade since the year 2007.
