On Tuesday, a group of Israeli colonizers assaulted staff of the Duma village council, southeast of Nablus, while another group of settlers demolished an agricultural room near Salfit, in the northern and central parts of the West Bank.

In a statement, the Duma village council announced that illegal settlers assaulted a number of council members and opened fire at them while they were opening the Nasser road, despite coordinating with the occupation authorities.

The statement added that the colonizers damaged the council’s vehicle and stole olives from Palestinian-owned land; the village council denounced the attack and held the Israeli occupation fully responsible.

The Ma’an News Agency reported that Israeli colonizers attacked a citizen’s property in the al-Matwi area west of Salfit, in the central West Bank, on Tuesday morning.

According to Muhandis Ibrahim Al-Hamad, the Director General of the Salfit Agriculture Directorate, a group of illegal Israeli settlers invaded the al-Matwi area.

Al-Hamad added that the colonizers demolished an agricultural room, vandalized trees and an irrigation network belonging to the citizen, Hussein al-Hareem. He stated that this is the second settler attack in the past three days.
