Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out a series of coordinated attacks across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, targeting agricultural lands and civilian property while accompanied by Israeli forces.
The violations spanned areas near Nablus in the northern West Bank and Hebron in the southern West Bank, and in Ramallah, in the central part, further escalating the campaign of destruction and displacement.
In the northern West Bank, a large group of colonizers set fire to vast stretches of farmland north of the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
The attack focused on the Wadi Yasuf area, where flames engulfed cultivated plots while Israeli forces prevented local residents from accessing the site to contain the damage.
Wadi Yasuf had already witnessed extensive bulldozing and land sabotage a week earlier, when colonizers from the illegal colony of Taffuh—built on lands belonging to Yasuf and Iskaka east of Salfit—carved out a new colonialist road and razed Palestinian-owned farmland.
In the southern West Bank, colonizers destroyed dozens of fruit-bearing olive trees in the village of Susiya, located in Masafer Yatta near Hebron.
According to local activist Osama Makhamra, at least 30 trees belonging to resident Ahmad Jaber Nawaj’a were uprooted and broken.
Colonizer groups in Masafer Yatta continue to carry out systematic sabotage targeting Palestinian communities.
Their actions include the destruction of farmland, irrigation networks, and electrical infrastructure, alongside repeated assaults on residents and their property – aimed at forcibly displacing families from their land.
In Ramallah, the colonizers stole olive harvests from Palestinian-owned land in the town of ‘Atara, northwest of the city.
The colonizers, from an outpost built on stolen land in the area looted olive produce from groves located on Jabal Khirbet Tarfeen, east of the town. Simultaneously, other colonizers grazed livestock on private farmland and stole water from a nearby well.
In Bethlehem, the colonizers invaded a Palestinian olive orchard in Marah Rabah village, south of the city, burnt many trees, in addition to closing the main street at the entrance of the village and hurling stones at Palestinian cars.
On Monday, an illegal Israeli colonizer shot and killed a Palestinian young man at the entrance to the city of Hebron.
The young man, Ahmad Ribhi Al-Atrash, 32, was killed before dawn Monday, after being shot in the head with live ammunition at the northern entrance to Hebron city.
Also on Monday, Israeli colonizers carried out a number of attacks in the governorates of Tubas, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Hebron.
The colonizers also targeted homes and farmland in Khirbet Masoud (southwest of Jenin in northern West Bank) and the village of Jurish (south of Nablus), in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
On Sunday, Israeli soldiers assaulted several Palestinians while they were harvesting olives in the town of Nahhalin, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. The incident occurred in the “Seder Ein Faris” area, where farmers had gathered to collect seasonal crops.
On Saturday, illegal Israeli settlers shot three Palestinians with live ammunition in the Bethlehem governorate, while others attacked farmers in the Ramallah and Hebron governorates.
Last Wednesday evening, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers stormed a Bedouin village in the al-Hathrawa area near Khan al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, on Wednesday evening.
Also Wednesday, Israeli colonizers cut down dozens of olive trees belonging to citizens in the Nablus and Hebron governorates, in the northern and southern parts of the occupied West Bank.
In addition, Israeli paramilitary colonizers set fire to two civilian vehicles during an assault on the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli forces and colonizers have killed 230 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank, including 42 children and 6 women.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention prohibits collective punishment and acts of terror against civilian populations.
