On Saturday, Day 106 of the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, the Israeli army continued its bombing and shelling of various parts of the destroyed and devastated Gaza Strip, leading to dozens of fatalities and hundreds of injuries.

On Saturday evening, the Israeli army fired shells at homes in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing at least thirteen Palestinians and wounding many.

The army later fired more artillery shells into the Zeitoun neighborhood, killing at least two additional Palestinians and wounding several others.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired many missiles, tanks, and artillery shells at various parts of the city, killing at least eleven Palestinians and wounding dozens.

Three Palestinians were killed and many were injured by Israeli missiles and shells in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.

The Israeli army also fired missiles and shells in the vicinity of the Al-Amal Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Khan Younis.

In Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired a missile at a car near the Khirbet Al-Adas intersection, killing four Palestinians and wounding several others.

In addition, the army wired and detonated an entire city block in Rafah city, destroying dozens of homes and buildings.

The PRCS said the conditions in Gaza and the northern parts of the Gaza Strip are very dire due to ongoing Israeli siege and constant bombing, adding that more than 800.000 Palestinians lack basic supplies.

In addition, the army fired many artillery shells and missiles into a number of areas in Beit Lahia, including the Salateen area, west of the city, in addition to the Tal Az-Za’atar area, east of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, causing many casualties.

At least five Palestinians were killed, and many were injured in one home in Jabalia after the army fired a missile at the property.

The Israeli army pushed more thank and military bulldozers into areas east of Jabalia and started demolishing homes and removing the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings.

In the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, the army fired missiles and shells at homes and buildings, killing and wounding many Palestinians, and fired a missile at a Palestinian while searching for survivors, killing him and wounding several others.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRS), managed to evacuate five seriously wounded Palestinians from the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza to the European Hospital in Khan Younis.

The PRCS said its teams also evacuated seven Palestinians, including four children whose father was killed by Israel, to the Rafah Border Terminal with Egypt, where their mother had been waiting for them, in addition to two children and their mother.

Despite the constant bombardment for the last 107 days, Palestinian resistance groups continued to counter the invading Israeli military vehicles and tanks in several parts of the Gaza Strip, especially in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, Al-Borej in central Gaza, and several areas east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal enclave.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israel has now killed at least 24.927 Palestinians and injured more than 62.388, mostly women and children, in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

There are thousands of missing Palestinians, presumed dead and buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said the number of slain Palestinians is more than 32.345, including 12.660 children and 6.860 women, adding that the number of slain Palestinians includes those who were killed and remain buried under the rubble.

Among the slain Palestinians are 301 healthcare workers, in addition to 356 wounded healthcare workers. The Israeli missiles also killed 41 Civil Defense workers and injured 356.

It added that Israeli missiles displaced at least 1.955.000 Palestinians, destroyed 72.440 residential units, in addition to damaging 190.250 units, 169 media facilities, 326 schools, 1690 industrial facilities, 247 mosque and three churches.

Israel’s indiscriminate bombing and shelling of the densely populated Gaza Strip also displaced nearly 2 million Palestinians who largely fled the already overcrowded city of Rafah near the border with Egypt.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said: “The right of the Palestinian people to build their own state must be recognized by all,” and added, “The refusal to accept the two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians, and the denial of the right to statehood for the Palestinian people, are unacceptable.”
