On Sunday, the army continued its bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing in the evening and at night, at least 100 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounding dozens.
The army fired many shells at and near a school, were dozens of families sheltered in the Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinians and wounding many others.
Medical sources said the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, has stopped working as it urgently needs medical supplies, especially after being repeatedly targeted and invaded by the army, and added that the fact the hospital is completely unable to provide medical services as “an Israeli death sentence of all patients and the hundreds of thousands of Palestinains in Rafah and Khan Younis, who depend on its medical services.”
The sources stated that Nasser Medical Center is the second largest hospital that goes out of service in the Gaza Strip, and added that only four medial staff are caring for all the wounded and the patients.
In addition, the Israeli soldiers abducted Dr. Nahed Abu Taaimah, the director of surgery at Nasser Hospital. The Palestinian Health Ministry earlier announced that Israeli army also abducted 70 medical workers from the hospital.
Medical sources said that at least sixteen Palestinians were killed, and dozens were injured, in the continued Israeli bombing of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Many remain under the rubble of bombarded areas.
In northern Gaza, five Palestinians, including children, were killed and many were injured in the Israeli bombing of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia.
In addition, at least seventy Palestinians, mostly women, and children, were killed and dozens were injured by Israeli missiles and shells that struck many homes and buildings in Nusseirat, Zawaida, and Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza.
The Israeli army also fired missiles and shells at the Sheja’eyya, Tal Al-Hawa, and Sheikh Ejleen areas, in Gaza City.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli has now killed at least 28.985 Palestinians and injured more than 68.883, mostly women and children, in addition to the thousands of missing Palestinians, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, in several parts of the devastated and destroyed Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
