Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive overnight invasions across the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, on Monday, breaking into homes, abducting dozens of Palestinians, and turning several residential properties into military posts.

In Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Ummar north of the city, broke into several homes, and abducted a number of young men, including Wadea’ Sami Awad, Ayham Abu Mariya, and Mohammad Yehya Awad.

Another young man was abducted in the nearby Beit Za’ta area. Forces also invaded the town of ath-Thahriya south of Hebron, where they abducted the newly elected deputy head of the Deir Samit municipal council, Atef Awwawda, after breaking into his home west of Dura.

In the Bethlehem area, troops invaded the town of ash-Shawawra east of the city, broke into a home, and ransacked its contents.

In Harasa Mountain area, east of Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted Odai Marwan Mustafa, 41, while Ahmad Mohammad Hasasna, 55, was abducted from Al-Ubeidiya town, in addition to Elias Qumsiyya, 52, and his son, Roni, 18, from the Shawawra village, east of Bethlehem.

It is worth mentioning that Hasana was shot by the soldiers two months ago and is still recovering from his wounds.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Tuqu’ town, southeast of Bethlehem, and summoned Monir Jamal Sabah for interrogation.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Anata and Kafr Aqab, as well as the Shu’fat refugee camp, before sending additional military reinforcements toward the Qalandiya refugee camp.

There, troops expanded their invasion, forced a family out of its home, and converted the property into a military post while conducting widespread abductions.

During the large-scale invasion of Qalandia, the army abducted numerous Palestinians, including Jihad Manasra, Mahmoud Ezzat, Ahmad Mtair, Jamal Ammar, Mohammad Abu Ghosh, Ihab Shu’ani, Hassan Ziyada Abu Watan, Yasser Nafe’, Amer al-Badri, Samer al-Badawi, and Mohammad Mazen Shehadeh.

Israeli forces also continued the massive invasion of ar-Ram north of occupied Jerusalem, where they abducted Rami al-Fakhouri and Jaber Abu Sbeih after breaking into their homes.

Earlier, troops had also invaded the Qalandiya refugee camp and the town of Kafr Aqab north of occupied Jerusalem, abducting one Palestinian and detaining around 30 others.

Soldiers deployed throughout the refugee camp and its surroundings, obstructing residents’ movement, and fired tear gas canisters during the ongoing invasion.

Forces also invaded the Jerusalem neighborhood of al-‘Isawiya and delivered demolition notices to several families.

In the Bethlehem district, Israeli forces invaded the Aida refugee camp north of the city, stationed themselves in its center, and deployed foot patrols through its streets.

In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two young men, Essam Zablah and Omari Diab, after breaking into their homes and damaging their belongings.

Troops also broke into the home of detainee Wa’ed Fathallah al-Hamshari in the city’s eastern neighborhood, after bringing him from prison, and conducted an extensive search while interrogating his family. Al-Hamshari was abducted two weeks earlier at the Jabara military roadblock south of Tulkarem.

In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted a child during an ongoing invasion of the Old City.

The army also abducted Mohyuddin Hosni from his home on Street 10, Jawad al-Qatouni from the al-Ein refugee camp, in addition to Mohammad Samir Dweikat, Ahmad al-Ji’an, and Bilal Dweikat from their homes in Balata town. Soldiers additionally held an ambulance inside the Old City, obstructing medical access.

In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the village of al-‘Arqa west of the city and the town of Ya’bad to the southwest, breaking into several homes and conducting searches.

These widespread invasions come amid an ongoing escalation by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank, as Palestinian groups continue to call for intensified confrontation and resistance to the occupation.
