Israeli forces killed at least eight Palestinians, including a child, in multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to medical sources in several hospitals across the besieged enclave.

Earlier in the day, medical sources told Anadolu Agency that two Palestinians were killed when an Israeli drone fired on a motorcycle near the Kuwait Roundabout on Salahuddin Street, southeast of Gaza City, while staff at Al‑Shifa Hospital confirmed the deaths of three others in the same area.

Another Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

In central Gaza, medical teams at Al‑Aqsa Hospital said a young girl died from wounds she sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in Deir al‑Balah.

A Palestinian woman was also reported killed in another Israeli attack west of Rafah, in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip.

Witnesses said Israeli military vehicles opened fire in several areas while the army simultaneously fired shells toward eastern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In central Gaza, the eastern areas of the Al‑Bureij refugee camp came under artillery fire alongside heavy machine‑gun fire from Israeli helicopters.

Israeli artillery also shelled the eastern parts of the Al‑Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, while naval vessels fired toward the city’s coastline.

Humanitarian agencies warned Sunday that conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate rapidly.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians remain without adequate food, clean water, or medical care, stressing that “no area of Gaza is safe” under ongoing military operations.

The agency added that restrictions on humanitarian access are preventing the delivery of life‑saving supplies and increasing the risk of famine, particularly among children.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said Gaza’s health system “has collapsed”, with hospitals operating far beyond capacity and lacking essential medicines, fuel, and surgical supplies.

UNICEF warned that intensified military activity in southern and central Gaza is placing children at “extreme and immediate risk”, noting that many are already suffering from severe malnutrition and untreated injuries.

As Israel continues to occupy and control more than half of the Gaza Strip, hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians remain in tents, schools, makeshift shelters, and open areas after losing their homes in the ongoing war, facing increasingly dire humanitarian conditions.

The Health Ministry in Gaza, along with civil defense teams, reported that since the so‑called ceasefire was reached on 10 October 2025 and entered into effect the following day, at least 811 Palestinians have been killed, 2,278 wounded, and 761 bodies recovered from under the rubble, while many others remain missing or trapped in areas rescue teams cannot access.

Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, the cumulative toll has reached at least 72,587 Palestinians killed and more than 172,381 wounded, while many others remain unaccounted for under collapsed buildings or in areas rescue teams cannot reach. The actual numbers are believed to be higher because of the large number of people still missing.
