The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals received one Palestinian killed and eight wounded over the past 24 hours amid the ongoing Israeli violation in the devastated Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, a Palestinian, Sa’id Fayez Shamali, succumbed to serious wounds he suffered earlier when the Israeli army bombarded the area of Firas Street in the center of Gaza City.
On Saturday, Israeli warplanes and artillery carried out multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip, killing a Palestinian doctor and another civilian, and wounding several others in a series of strikes targeting residential areas, markets, and densely populated neighborhoods in the central, northern, and eastern parts of the besieged enclave.
During the days of Eid al‑Adha alone, medical teams received 33 Palestinians killed and more than 130 wounded, underscoring continued violations despite the “ceasefire” announcement.
Since the start of the declared “ceasefire” on October 11, 2025, hospitals have documented 930 Palestinians killed, 2,819 wounded, and 781 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
The cumulative toll since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023 has risen to 72,939 Palestinians killed and 172,927 wounded.
These figures represent only those who reached hospitals; thousands remain missing under collapsed buildings in areas rescue teams have been unable to access.
