Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of deadly airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing many Palestinians, wounding dozens, and causing extensive destruction in multiple areas, as medical teams continued to struggle to reach victims trapped under the rubble.

Three members of the Palestinian police were killed in the al‑Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza after Israeli warplanes targeted a group of officers stationed near the coastal zone.

In al‑Qarara, north of Khan Younis, an Israeli airstrike struck a warehouse west of the town, causing massive destruction and igniting fires that civil defense crews worked to contain.

In Gaza City, one Palestinian was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city.

Medical teams at the al‑Ahli Arab (Baptist) Hospital reported receiving one person killed and five wounded following the attack.

Later in the evening, the al‑Saraya field hospital in central Gaza City received five people killed and eighteen wounded after an Israeli airstrike targeted a home near Isra’ Tower on Omar al‑Mukhtar Street in the al‑Samer area west of Gaza City. The strike caused severe destruction to the residential block and surrounding structures.

Israeli warplanes also bombed a residential square in the Shati’ refugee camp, west of Gaza City, destroying several homes. Footage from the scene showed residents searching through debris moments after the attack.

Furthermore, a Palestinian man died on Thursday from wounds sustained two days earlier in an Israeli airstrike on the chalets area west of al‑Zawayda in central Gaza. Medical sources identified him as Hayel Khalil Mohammad al‑Kurd, 31, who had been in critical condition since the strike.

In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces shot and wounded a Palestinian man in the al‑Salatin area west of Beit Lahia. Local sources reported that Israeli gunfire has intensified in the area in recent days.

Medical teams also confirmed that the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza City yesterday has risen to ten after additional bodies were recovered from the rubble.

The victims of the Israeli strike on a residential building on Omar al‑Mukhtar Street in the al‑Samer area include Emad Hassan Salim, identified as a commander in the al‑Qassam Brigades; Ahmad Abdul‑Wahab Abu Halima, 43, Director of Student Affairs at Gaza University; Nour Ahmad Abdul‑Wahhab Abu Halima, 12; Yamen Ahmad Abdul‑Wahab Abu Halima, 13; Esraa Imad Salim, 17; Sidra Eyad Azzam, 12; Sara Samah Rajab, 9; Shaimaa Khalil Shaaban al‑Suweirki, 28; Ehsan Matar Bilbil, 81; and ‘Attaf Subhi Bolbol, 47.

Hospitals in the Strip received, over the past forty‑eight hours, at least sixteen people killed and thirty‑nine wounded.

Since the ceasefire announced on October 11, 2025, the Ministry confirmed a total of 922 people killed, 2,786 wounded, and 781 bodies recovered from destroyed areas.

The cumulative toll since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,819 killed and 172,894 wounded, according to medical authorities in Gaza, who stressed that the actual figures are likely higher due to the scale of destruction, the lack of equipment and supplies, and the inability of rescue teams to reach many affected areas.

Many victims remain under the rubble or on the roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to ongoing Israeli bombardment and destroyed access routes.
