On Wednesday, Israeli forces invaded several citizens’ homes in various regions of the occupied West Bank and abducted at least nine Palestinians, including a child.

Tulkarem

On Wednesday afternoon, Israeli forces invaded the city of Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, stormed several commercial shops, and interrogated their owners.

Nablus

In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded, before dawn Wednesday, the city of Nablus and the Balata refugee camp to the east.

Several military vehicles, including a bulldozer stormed the Balata camp, sparking protests from local Palestinians.

The army invaded and searched several citizens’ homes, abducted the young man, Ahmed Al-Kaabi, while gunfire was reported.

On Wednesday night, occupation forces invaded the village of Salem, east of Nablus and surrounded the home of Raif Jabara, while firing live rounds.

Media sources said that many armored vehicles stormed the village, invading and ransacking the besieged home, without any making any arrests.

Ramallah

In the central part of the West Bank, occupation forces broke into and searched the home of Obada Nasser Al-Arouri, 30, in the village of Aroura, northwest of Ramallah, before abducting him.

It is important to mention that the army abducted Al-Arouri in an effort to coerce his brother to turn himself in to the army.

The army also invaded several other towns and villages in the Ramallah governorate.

Occupied Jerusalem

In the evening, Israeli soldiers stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, broke into citizens’ homes, and abducted two unidentified Palestinians.


Furthermore, on Wednesday night, soldiers stationed at the Shu’fat military roadblock, fired tear gas canisters at Palestinians and their homes, while youths protested the military presence.

Bethlehem

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards Palestinians in Al-Khader town, southwest of Bethlehem, without any reports of injuries.

Hebron

Before dawn on Wednesday, the occupation army invaded the city of Hebron and the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, and stormed many citizens’ homes.

Soldiers stormed the home of the slain young man, Fadi Jamjoum in Hebron, detained family members, while engineering crews conducted a survey of the home.

In Beit Ummar town, soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes, and assaulted their residents.

Later it was reported that the army abducted five Palestinians, including a child, after storming their homes in the town of Beit Ummar.

Soldiers abducted Nabil Muhammad Murshid Awad, 40, his son, Abdullah, 15, Ahmed Samir Abdullah Al-Salibi, 25, Salah Farhan Musa Alqam, 23, and Thaer Tayseer Ayed Akhilil, 25, before transferring them to the “Etzion” camp, north of the city.

According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,566 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
