On Tuesday, Israeli soldiers confiscated seventy Dunams of Palestinian lands from Azzoun Atma village, isolated behind the illegal Annexation Wall, south of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said the army issued military orders confiscating the lands from their owners in Azzoun Atma and nearby Masha village in the Salfit governorate.

They added that the orders target Palestinian olive orchards in the Khallet Abu Atma area, intending to build 192 new units for the illegal colonizers in the Shaare Tikva colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.

Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Humanitarian Law.
