On Monday, the Israeli occupation army continued its offensive, destruction and violations in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee Camps for the 120th and 107th  consecutive days, deploying more soldiers and military vehicles across the Tulkarem governorate.

Israeli occupation forces persist in their military offensive against the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camp, as well as Nur Shams refugee camp, escalating field operations, provocations, and mass arrests.

Israeli forces dispatched reinforcements to Tulkarem refugee camp and its surroundings early Monday, following the previous day’s announcement of plans to demolish more homes and residential buildings, a scheme initially disclosed at the beginning of the month.

The army has been targeting residents attempting to access their homes slated for demolition, detaining and searching them after confiscating their IDs, despite initially allowing them entry. Palestinian Red Crescent staff and volunteers were also subjected to these measures.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces ordered residents of 20 residential buildings in the neighborhoods of Al-Akasha and Dabbet Um Juhor to evacuate their belongings in preparation for demolition.

In addition, the Israeli military altered the designated entry route to the refugee camp; initially, residents were told they could enter through an access point near traffic signals on Nablus Street. However, soldiers later barred them, forcing them to return to the main northern entrance while threatening to shoot or abduct them.

Meanwhile, the military has continued its suffocating blockade on both Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, with ongoing gunfire and explosions heard sporadically.

After midnight, Israeli forces set fire to homes in the Al-Manshiyya neighborhood of Nur Shams refugee camp.

Recent days have witnessed widespread demolitions in Nur Shams, where more than 20 residential buildings were destroyed, damaging neighboring structures. This action is part of an Israeli plan to level 106 buildings; 58 in Tulkarem refugee camp and 48 in Nur Shams refugee camp, to carve out roads and alter the area’s geography.

Israeli forces also abducted two young men at dawn: Odai Al-Anbas from his home in the Thannaba neighborhood east of the city, and Mohammad Farhana after invading his house in Ezbet Al-Jarad, southeast of Tulkarem.

Additionally, Israeli forces raided the home of Issam Odah, the Secretary of the “National Assembly for Martyrs’ Families,” for the second time in 24 hours, subjecting him and his family to interrogation, mistreatment, and threats to force his son Amir to surrender.

Odah was also detained alongside his daughter Sara the previous day for several hours. He has been repeatedly abducted and assaulted in recent months, and two of his sons, Mohammad and Ismail, are currently held in Israeli prisons under administrative detention without charges or trial.

Throughout the city, occupation forces continue intensive patrols, roaming main roads and residential areas, blocking Palestinian movement, and disrupting traffic by driving against the flow of vehicles.

They have also installed sudden military checkpoints, particularly in the central market, Nablus Street, Shweika Roundabout in the northern district, and near the entrance to “Thabet Thabet” Governmental Hospital.

Israeli forces have occupied multiple residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, displacing families and converting their homes into military outposts. Some of these buildings have been under occupation for more than two months.

It is worth mentioning that the army previously placed intermittent dirt barriers along Nablus Street, which links Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps. This has severely impacted vehicular movement and worsened civilian suffering.

Additionally, large-scale bulldozing and excavation work have been carried out, particularly at the northern entrance to Tulkarem refugee camp.

The ongoing offensive has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant, as well as dozens of injuries and mass arrests.

The destruction has caused extensive damage to infrastructure, homes, businesses, and vehicles, following systematic demolitions, arson, and looting.

More than 4,200 families, exceeding 25,000 individuals, have been forcibly displaced by the Israeli soldiers from the two refugee camps. Over 400 homes have been destroyed, with partial damage to 2,573 others.

Entrances and alleyways have been sealed off with dirt barriers, transforming both refugee camps into isolated zones nearly devoid of signs of life.

Also Monday,  Israeli soldiers continued the offensive against the city of Jenin and its Jenin camp, in the northern West Bank,  intensifying destruction and bulldozing operations aimed at altering its landscape and infrastructure.

Since the beginning of this year, Israeli soldiers have killed 146 Palestinians, including 26 children and 5 women in the occupied West Bank.

57 Palestinian were killed in Jenin, 25 in Tubas, 25 in Nablus, 14 in Tulkarem, 6 in Hebron, 5 in Bethlehem, 4 in Ramallah, 4 in Jerusalem, 2 in Qalqilia and 3 in Salfit.
