On Sunday morning, several Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded the village of al-Aqaba, east of Tubas in northeastern West Bank, demolished a Palestinian under-construction home, and abducted one Palestinian.

The Governor of Tubas and the Northern Valleys reported that the soldiers demolished an under-construction home, belonging to Ibrahim Taleb, on his land.

The governor added that the soldiers abducted Ibrahim’s brother and confiscated his car before taking them to an unknown destination.

Younis al-‘Aasi, the governor of Tubas and the Northern Plains, denounced the demolition and the ongoing displacement of the Palestinians from the Northern Plains for the benefit of Israel’s illegal colonies.

He added that the Palestinians in the area are subject to constant invasions and abductions, in addition to the demolition of homes and structures.

Younis also called on various international legal and human rights groups in the region and worldwide to intervene and end the Israeli violations against the Palestinian people and end this ongoing illegal Israeli occupation.
