On Sunday, Israeli forces demolished three under-construction homes near Jericho, in the northeastern part of the West Bank, and two homes, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Israeli forces demolished, on Sunday afternoon, three under-construction homes in the village of An-Nuwei’ma, north of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the “Al-Baidar” organization for defending the rights of Bedouins, soldiers invaded the village and destroyed three homes belonging to the Kharabsheh family.

In the southern West Bank, occupation forces demolished two homes in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, on Sunday morning.

One of the demolished homes belonged to the Administrative Detainee, Nadeem Sabarna, under the pretext of building without an Israeli-issued permit.

The destroyed home was a three-storey, 150 square meter home which was shelter for six Palestinian citizens, who were left homeless.

Local Palestinians protested the demolition, while soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, causing some citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

Occupation forces demolished a second home in the town, belonging to the citizen, Ibrahim Mahmoud Jamil Abu Maria.

The one-storey, one level home provided shelter for seven individuals who have been forced to become homeless.
