Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive invasions across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, injuring Palestinians, abducting dozens, imposing closures, and conducting field interrogations in multiple towns and villages stretching from occupied Jerusalem to Ramallah, Nablus, Qalqilia, Jenin, Salfit, Jericho, and Hebron.
A young man sustained bruises and contusions in Abu Dis, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, after falling repeatedly while being chased by Israeli soldiers during an invasion of the town.
Video published by the Jerusalem Governorate shows him tumbling down a slope as soldiers pursued him.
Several Palestinians, including an elderly man, suffered severe tear‑gas inhalation at the entrance to ar‑Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, after Israeli forces fired large quantities of gas at residents.
The army simultaneously intensified restrictions at the Jaba’ military roadblock, stopping vehicles, searching them, and inspecting passengers’ identity cards, causing a traffic jam that extended to the Qalandia military roadblock and severely disrupting movement.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the Solomon’s Pools tourist area between al‑Khader and Artas, south of Bethlehem, positioning themselves near the second pool along the main road. Soldiers also broke into a home in the Hindaza area south of Bethlehem.
In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Islam Mahmoud Shahwan and Wasim Tareq Shahwan from Hableh, south of Qalqilia, after invading the town and breaking into their homes.
Before dawn, Israeli forces invaded Madama, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, breaking into several homes and abducting five residents: Fadi Hikmat Faraj, Abdul‑Karim Emad Ziyada, Qusai Hazem Nassar, Hadi Mazem Nassar, and Mohammad Ramzi Nassar. Soldiers also invaded Salem, east of Nablus, searched homes, and withdrew without reported abductions.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Yazan Adnan Hindi after breaking into his family’s home on Nablus Street.
In Fuqqu’a, northeast of Jenin, soldiers detained Mohammad Aram, Osama al‑Husseini, Mohammad Ali Barakat, and Ehsan Khodour before releasing them later.
The army also abducted Nour al‑Sahmoud from Burqin, west of Jenin, and carried out additional invasions in Qabatia and Muthallath ash‑Shuhada, south of Jenin, breaking into several homes.
Further invasions were reported in al‑Funduq, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank.
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Deir Abu Mash’al northwest of Ramallah, Sinjil north of Ramallah, al‑Mughayyer northeast of Ramallah, and Jammala west of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that soldiers broke into dozens of homes after sealing off the villages, conducted field interrogations with numerous residents, and posted written warnings of intensified military operations.
In Deir Ghassana, northwest of Ramallah, Israeli forces invaded the village with military vehicles and a bulldozer, closed internal roads, and detained 30 young men in the center of the village. Soldiers abducted Alaa Hashem from Jamala after interrogating residents.
The army had already closed the western entrance of al‑Mughayyer on Monday evening. The head of the village council, Amin Abu Alia, said the western entrance remained sealed for hours after the invasion, with soldiers preventing movement in both directions.
The eastern entrance has been closed since 2023. The village has faced repeated attacks by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, including the shooting of 17‑year‑old Fadi Hamdallah an‑Na’san, who succumbed to his wounds on Saturday after being struck by an explosive round fired by colonizers during an assault on the village a week earlier.
In the central West Bank district of Salfit, Israeli forces abducted three young men—Assem Hamza Shehada, Tha’er Hussein Jouda, and Habib Yousef Abu Asba—from their workplace in the Thaher al‑Qasr area of Rafat, west of Salfit.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, breaking into homes during the operation.
In Jericho, in the eastern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Khaled Abdul‑Aziz Fawzi ar‑Ra’ey after breaking into his home, searching it, and damaging its contents.
Soldiers also invaded the Abu al‑Hawa family building, searching the apartments of Nader Abu al‑Hawa and Yousef Abu al‑Hawa. From the latter’s apartment, soldiers stole 5,000 shekels and gold jewelry.
The army then invaded Aqabat Jabr refugee camp south of Jericho, patrolling the streets of the Ka’abna neighborhood without reported additional abductions.
