Illegal Israeli settlers desecrated, on Wednesday night, several gravestones in a Palestinian cemetery in the village of Burqa, north of city of Nablus, Days of Palestine reported.

Local official in charge of documenting Israeli settlement crimes in the northern occupied West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas said that illegal Israeli settlers invaded the village from evacuated Homesh colony.

Taking full advantage of the precautionary lockdown imposed on several West Bank villages, the colonists entered the village cemetery and defiled Palestinian gravestones.

This type of hateful act is a common occurrence in many occupied West Bank cities and towns, with Israeli settlements built on Palestinian lands, throughout the occupied Palestinian territories.
