A group of fanatic illegal Israeli colonists attacked, Tuesday, Palestinian construction workers near the main entrance of Burqa village, north of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and injured three.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official who monitors Israel’s illegal colonialist activities in northern West Bank, said the Israeli colonists invaded Palestinian lands near the former Homesh colony.
Daghlas added that the assailants hurled stones at Palestinian construction workers in the area, in addition to firing many live rounds.
The Palestinian intercepted the Israeli assailants and started pushing them out of their lands.
Daghlas said three Palestinians, identified as Yazan Kheirallah, Hamada Barqawi, and Wadea’ Zeidan Daghlas, suffered cuts and bruises and added that their wounds were described as mild.
In related news, a group of colonists attacked Palestinian property, causing damage, in Huwwara town, south of Nablus.
The attack took place after the soldiers closed Huwwara military roadblock, preventing the Palestinians from crossing while allowing the colonists to freely roam the area.
The attacks are part of constant violations against the Palestinians and their lands, especially amidst Israel’s ongoing attempts to build and expand its illegal colonies, in addition to retroactively recognizing illegal outposts on Palestinian lands.
All of Israel’s colonies in the West Bank, including in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various international treaties. The Palestinians continue to lose their lands for the illegal constructions, in addition to the Annexation Wall which isolated large areas of orchards and lands, across the West Bank.
