On Tuesday evening, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a Palestinian shepherd in Kisan village, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Local nonviolent activist, Ahmad Ghazal, said the colonizers attacked Mustafa Ibrahim Al-Obeyyat while herding his sheep on Palestinian lands near the illegal Abi HaNahal settlement colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.

Ghazal added that the colonizers also hurled concussion grenades and bombs at the sheep, wounding many of them, including a few pregnant sheep that suffered abortions.

The colonizers have escalated their violations against the Palestinian farmers and shepherds in Kisan, including preventing them from entering grazing areas and physically assaulting them and their livestock.

Last year, the Israeli government approved the theft of 49,000 dunams (21,000 acres) of Kisan’s land.
