On Monday, illegal Israeli colonists opened fire with live ammunition at Palestinian-owned homes in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to Raed Haj Muhammad, the head of the Jalud village council, armed Israeli settlers from the illegal “Ahya” colonial outpost, built on stolen Palestinian lands, fired at citizens and their homes in the “Sheikh Bishr” southeast of the village.

He added that bullets shattered the windows of the village mosque while worshipers were inside and mentioned that International Committee of the Red Cross crews were also present in the area.

According to Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention;

The Occupying Power [ISRAEL] shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [PALESTINE].
