An Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinian young men, injuring five, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, while soldiers invaded exchange shops, stole money and abducted six citizens.

At approximately 1 am on Thursday, Israeli forces invaded the city of Jenin, while reconnaissance drones flew in the airspace above the city.


Occupation soldiers stormed a number of buildings in the city of Jenin and positioned sharpshooters on the rooftops, while reinforcements arrived.

An armed drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinian young men in the area of Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Mosque, in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, injuring five citizens.


Medical sources with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that an armed drone fired a missile at a group of young men, injuring five of them with shrapnel, one of whom was struck in the face.

Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army near the “Watermelon Roundabout” and the “Cinema Roundabout”, while soldiers fired barrages of live rounds.


Similar confrontations occurred in the town of Burqin, west of the city, and on the outskirts of the Jenin camp, with no injuries reported.

Meanwhile, the army stormed the Arab and Al-Quds banks in the eastern neighborhood, invaded exchange shops, including the Gulf Exchange Corporation and the Fakhri Al-Din Exchange Company, damaging their contents and confiscating property.


Occupation forces arrested Hani Abu Muwais, the owner of the Gulf Exchange, and stole one million shekels ($276,667 USD) and $350,000 USD from the Al-Fakhr Exchange Company.

Furthermore, occupation forces opened fire at one of the city’s main electricity transformers, causing a power outage in several neighborhoods.

It was added that the army stormed many citizens’ homes in Qabatiya town, south of Jenin, the villages of Bir al-Basha, Zawiya, Sanur, Jaba’, and ‘Anza, to the southwest.

In related news, Israeli forces abducted, on Thursday morning, five Palestinian young men from Al-Hashimiya village, west of the city.

Soldiers stormed and searched the homes of Khaled Al-Fayed, his brother, Ahmed, his son, Amjad Al-Fayed, Mazen Muhammad Al-Fayed, and Osama Al-Jabali, before abducting them.
