Israeli occupation forces have abducted at least 20 Palestinians from the West Bank since Tuesday evening until early morning hours, Wednesday, including three women and several former prisoners.

In a joint statement, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society reported that Israeli forces continue to escalate abduction operations and field interrogations across the West Bank, coinciding with the ongoing aggression against Palestinian civilians.

Ten of the abducted Palestinians were taken from their homes in the town of Beitunia and the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, located northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part.

The soldiers also shot a Palestinian teenage boy, abducted two young men, and caused extensive destruction in the town of Qabatia, south of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Additionally, the Israeli military continues to enforce a siege on the towns of Bruqin and Kafr ad-Dik for the eighth consecutive day.

These invasions are accompanied by physical assaults, threats against detainees and their families, the destruction of homes, and the confiscation of money and vehicles.

Due to the ongoing offensiveness in these towns, clear information on abductions and field interrogations remains scarce.

The invasions have also been marked by extrajudicial executions and the conversion of civilian homes into military outposts.

The occupation forces also persist in their aggression against the cities of Jenin and Tulkarem, carrying out abductions and field interrogations that have been ongoing for months.

The number of abducted Palestinians in these two cities alone has reached nearly 1,000, including individuals who were later released.

These abductions come as part of Israel’s broader offensive, which has led to the detention of approximately 17,000 Palestinians from the West Bank since the start of what has been described as a campaign of extermination. In addition, dozens of Palestinian workers have been abducted, along with thousands from Gaza.
