Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple invasions across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, abducting Palestinians from several districts, seizing privately owned property, and imposing widespread movement restrictions.
In the Nablus District, in the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded the town of Surra, southwest of Nablus city, stormed a restaurant, and abducted Mo’tasem Ghanem from his workplace.
In the city of Nablus, several military patrols entered the eastern area and positioned themselves near the central vegetable market, while in a separate invasion soldiers stormed the western area, stormed a home belonging to the Sama’na family in Beit Iba town, northwest of the city, and searched it while deploying heavily in the surrounding streets.
In the Jerusalem District, Israeli forces invaded the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem, and abducted seven Palestinians; Aref Salama and his four sons, along with Zein Nabil Salama and Adam Salama, amid an intensifying campaign of invasions and arrests targeting the town.
In the Hebron District, in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded ath-Thaheriya while firing live rounds and toxic gas, and abducted Thaer Ahmad al-Hawarin and Ashraf Ibrahim al-Hawarin after ransacking their homes and interrogating them and their families.
In a separate invasion, soldiers entered Ethna and seized five water tanks belonging to the Abu Jheisha and Farajallah families, transferring them to the nearby illegal colony of Adora.
Forces also installed multiple military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
In the Bethlehem District, Israeli forces invaded the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, and the city of Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem, storming and ransacking several homes.
During the invasion of Beit Sahour, soldiers ordered the family of Mohammad Mousa Dar al-As’as to inform him that he must turn himself in to the army.
