Israeli forces abducted, on Sunday, two Palestinian young men, including a formed prisoner, in the village of Qibya, west of Ramallah, and a child in the town of Silwan, in occupied Jerusalem, in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the homes of the former prisoner, Ali Muhammad Ghaidan, and the young man, Bahaa Daloul, before assaulting and abducting them.

North of Ramallah, Israeli soldiers opened fire, on Sunday afternoon, at Palestinian citizens in the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp.

Soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canister towards citizens; no injuries were reported.

It was added that the army invaded the towns of Sinjil and Turmus Ayya northeast of Ramallah, the town of Deir Ibzi, west of the city, and Burqa village to the east; no arrests were reported.

Later in the afternoon, Israeli forces invaded the town of Deir Jarir, northeast of the city, and deployed an infantry unit.

On Sunday evening, occupation forces erected a military roadblock at the entrance to the village of Kafr Malik, northwest of the city, and another in Burqa town to the east.

Media sources said that soldiers stopped many vehicles while inspecting citizens’ ID cards, causing a traffic crisis.

It was added that the army invaded the village of Beitin, northeast of the city, and stormed many citizens’ homes.

Palestine TV published a video of Israeli military vehicles invading the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, on Sunday afternoon.


In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted, on Sunday afternoon, the Palestinian child, Wael Awaida, in the “Ain al-Loza” neighborhood in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a joint statement, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said that Israeli forces abducted 28 Palestinians including former prisoners in the governorates of Jenin, Qalqilia, Jericho, Ramallah, and Hebron.

The statement added that the army has abducted 8,710 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
