On Saturday evening, Israeli forces escalated its aggression against the city of Tulkarem, in the northwestern occupied West Bank, and abducted two young men. For 125 consecutive days, the army has besieged Tulkarem city and the Tulkarem refugee camp, and the Nur Shams camp for 112 days.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the streets of Tulkarem, driving provocatively through the streets, obstructing the movement of vehicles.


WAFA correspondent reported that military vehicles invaded the city’s main streets, including Paris Street, Al-Nahda Street, in the market area, and the street leading to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Government Hospital.

He added that the army drove through the streets honking and driving against traffic, while soldiers stopped citizens’ vehicles at flying military roadblocks, and infantry units spread throughout the city.

Media sources said that occupation forces abducted the young man, Abdul Abu Libdeh, after storming his home in Tulkarem city, and invaded many homes in the Shuweika suburb north of the city, stole money, and abducted the young man, Amir Awfi.


The ongoing aggression has resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, and wounded dozens, in addition to causing widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.

At least 4,200 families have been displaced from the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, after the army forced then from their homes. At least 400 homes have been completely destroyed, and partially destroyed more than 2000 others.
