Before dawn on Tuesday, Israeli forces invaded a number of towns in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin. On Monday, the occupation carried out demolition operations in the Jenin refugee camp which has been under a tight siege since January 21, 2025.

According to Quds Press, Israeli forces stormed the town of Kafr Ra’i, southwest of Jenin after midnight Monday/Tuesday, detained Palestinian citizens and converted a residential building into a military barracks and field interrogation center.


The same source reported that the army invaded the town of Al-Yamoun, northwest of Jenin, before dawn on Tuesday, and conducted a search operation.


In related news, occupation forces demolished residential buildings in the Jenin refugee camp, and opened live fire towards Palestinian journalists attempting to cover the demolition operations.


Media sources said that Israeli soldiers opened fire with live rounds towards journalists on Monday evening, while they were covering the ongoing demolition operations near the Jenin Governmental Hospital and other areas next to the Jenin refugee camp.


Sources added that on Monday afternoon, Israeli bulldozers began demolishing residential buildings and commercial stores in the “Al-Hisan” Roundabout area of the Jenin refugee camp, behind the Jenin Governmental Hospital, and other areas surrounding the camp.


In the morning, soldiers opened fire with live ammunition in the vicinity of citizens’ homes in the “Al-Hisan” roundabout area and other areas in the Jenin refugee camp; no injuries were reported.
