On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian child after an alleged stabbing attempt at the Beit Einoun junction, northeast of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot and killed the child, Mohammad Murad Mohammad Shahadah Jaradat, 16, at close range at the Beit Einoun junction, northeast of Hebron.

Sources added that the army left the wounded child bleeding on the ground and prevented ambulance crews from reaching him.

The Arab 48 news website quoted the Israeli army who claimed “a terrorist attempted to carry out a stabbing attack against the army forces that were present at the Beit Einun junction, without causing any injuries.”

The statement added that “the soldiers opened fire on him and were able to neutralize him.”

It is important to mention that the army clearly states that no soldiers were injured during the alleged stabbing attempt.

Sources added that the army confiscated the body of the slain child, Jaradat, a citizen of the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron.

In related news, occupation forces fatally shot the citizenRamadan Hussein Mohammad Sadeq, 45, with live rounds to the head, chest, and back, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
