Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man on Tuesday, after invading the city of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Medical sources reported to the WAFA News Agency that the young man, Mohammad Yahya Mousa Jalayta, 20, succumbed to live gunshot wounds at dawn Tuesday.
The Jalayta family stated that their son, Mohammad was shot and seriously injured after occupation forces shot him with live rounds while they stormed the Arab neighborhood of Jericho city.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers invaded Jericho city after midnight, and opened fire with live rounds and concussion grenades towards civilians in the center of Jericho.
In related news, the army abducted two Palestinian young men in the Askar al-Jadid (New Askar) refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that occupation forces abducted two unidentified youths on Tuesday morning, after storming the New Askar refugee camp.
