The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that one of the seriously wounded Palestinians has succumbed to his wounds, after Israeli soldiers shot him with live fire, and added that six Palestinians were injured, one seriously.

In a statement, the Health Ministry said a young man, Mahmoud Faisal Kharraz, 32, has succumbed to serious gunshot wounds.

It added that seven Palestinians were injured, including Mahmoud, and stated that another wounded Palestinian remains in a critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit.

Earlier Tuesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man, after invading the city of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

Medical sources reported to the WAFA News Agency that the young man, Mohammad Yahya Mousa Jalayta, 20, succumbed to live gunshot wounds at dawn Tuesday.

Israeli forces shot seven Palestinians, including one who suffered life-threatening wounds,  and caused fifteen to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, in Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, during a military raid early Tuesday.


Update: The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the Israeli soldiers shot and injured seven Palestinians with live fire, including one who suffered life-threatening wounds.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said the seriously injured Palestinian was shot with a live round in the neck.


UpdateThe director of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus (PRCS), Amid Ahmad, reported that Israeli occupation forces shot a 32-year-old Palestinian with live ammunition, injuring him in the pelvic area.

Ahmad added Additionally, two Palestinians were also wounded after being hit in the chest with rubber-coated metal bullets, while 15 suffered from tear gas inhalation, as Israeli forces invaded the Old City of Nablus.

Israeli troops stormed Nablus from the Huwara roadblock, targeting Al-Khaleej Exchange in Zawata Square and Al-Ashqar Gold and Jewelry Shop in the commercial market. During the invasion, they looted the shops’ contents while firing live rounds and tear gas bombs.


According to media sources, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Nablus from the Huwara military roadblock, located south of the city. Soldiers then stormed and ransacked shops in the commercial market area and the Old City, sparking protests.

During the raid, Israeli troops fired live rounds and gas bombs, wounding a 32-year-old Palestinian with a gunshot to the pelvis.

In a related incident, Israeli forces invaded Qalqilia, another city in the northern West Bank, where they searched homes and stores.
