On Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces carried out invasions across various parts of the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, storming and ransacking homes, in addition to many currency exchange shops and commercial areas.
Update: Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked and burnt several Palestinian cars, and attacked homes in the southern area of Qaryut village, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Update: Several Israeli military vehicles invaded Bethlehem city, south of occupied Jerusalem, and fired rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs at Palestinian journalists.
Palestine TV said the soldiers targeted its teams while reporting on ongoing protests and military invasions in Bethlehem.
May 27, 2025 at 12:22: Media sources said the soldiers invaded Jenin, Nablus, and Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, and Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, in addition to Hebron, in the southern part, storming and ransacking homes and currency exchange businesses.
During these invasions, the soldiers abducted several Palestinians in addition to confiscating cash, gold and other types of jewelry.
Update: The Israeli army targeted Palestinian medics and journalists with gas bombs and concussion grenades, in Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Update: Medical sources have confirmed that the army shot nine Palestinians with live fire, during its ongoing invasion of Nablus.
Furthermore, a 32-year-old Palestinian was shot by Israeli soldiers in the pelvic area during the invasion of the Old City.
Troops invaded the city from the Huwara checkpoint, targeting Al-Khaleej Exchange in Zawata Square and a gold and jewelry shop in the commercial market, while firing live rounds and tear gas.
Israeli forces also invaded Qalqilia, storming the market area, and searched several homes.
In Jenin, occupation forces invaded Al-Khaleej Exchange in the city center and the Cinema Roundabout, deploying smoke bombs.
The exchange shop has been invaded multiple times, most recently in August last year, when its contents were destroyed, leading to its closure until April.
In a statement, the Israeli occupation army said it began a large-scale operation targeting currency exchange shops in the West Bank, for what it alleged “funding terrorism.”
Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded Tubas from the Tayasir checkpoint, storming a money exchange shop and deploying armored military bulldozers and vehicles.
A large Israeli military force also invaded Bethlehem, entering from the southern entrance, passing through Al-Khader town and Deheishe refugee camp, in the Bethlehem governorate.
