Updated: On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured a Palestinian man northeast of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to media reports, troops opened fire with live ammunition near a section of the illegal Annexation Wall in the village of Faqqu’a.
The victim, identified as 43-year-old Essam Kamal Rajeh Rabay’a, sustained life-threatening injuries before being taken by the soldiers to an undisclosed location.
Sources added that Rabay’a, from Meithalun town, south of Jenin, had been near one of the illegal Annexation Wall’s gates, attempting to cross to reach his workplace.
It is worth mentioning that earlier reports indicated that the Palestinian was killed, especially when the soldiers covered his body and took him away, but later, the Israeli side informed the The Palestinian General Commission for Civil Affairs that the man is in a critical condition. Hours later, it was revealed the Essam remain in a critical condition at an Israeli hospital in Afula.
Also in Jenin, the soldiers invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of the city, before storming and ransacking many homes and shops, in addition to assaulting several Palestinians.
In related news, Israeli forces abducted nine Palestinians, including two siblings, from Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, the army stormed the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, deployed infantry units in the streets, assaulted citizens, and invaded several homes and commercial shops; no arrests were reported.
Furthermore, the Israeli army continued its ongoing siege and demolition campaign in the Jenin refugee camp.
WAFA correspondent reported on Tuesday evening, that Israeli bulldozers demolished citizens’ homes in the “Tal’ al-Ghabz” area of the Jenin refugee camp.
The same source reported that occupation bulldozers demolished citizens’ homes in the “Al-Samran” neighborhood in the center of the camp, on Tuesday morning.
Since the beginning of the Israeli army’s ongoing aggression against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp on January 21, 2025, the occupation has destroyed at least 600 citizens’ homes in the camp.
Also on Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded a citizen’s home in Jenin city and abducted a young man near the Jenin refugee camp.
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted the citizen, Mohammad Fuad Awis, after invading his home in “Khalat al-Sawha” near the Jenin refugee camp, in addition to storming and searching a home in the al-Jabariyat neighborhood in the city.
Moreover, in the evening, the army invaded the village of Rummanah and razed land in the village of Zububa, northwest of Jenin city.
Media sources said that Israeli bulldozers embarked in paving a road and uprooting olive trees in the village of Zububa, near the Apartheid wall, built on stolen Palestinian lands.
Sources added that occupation forces invaded the village of Rummanah and roamed the streets with their military vehicles.
On Tuesday morning, occupation forces stormed the town of Jaba’, southwest of Jenin, with several armored vehicles, and forcibly evacuated Palestinian citizens from their homes, turning one home into a military barracks.
Media sources reported that Israeli infantry units were deployed on the streets, invaded and ransacked several citizens’ homes in the “Abu al-Hour” area, forcing their residents to evacuate and warned them not to return for 72 hours, and imposed a curfew.
Additionally, occupation forces abducted two Palestinians from their homes in the towns of Jalboun and Deir Abu Da’if, east of Jenin.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported that soldiers abducted Ahmad Raed Abu al-Rab in Jalboun, and Mohammad Nafi’ Mahameed in Deir Abu Da’if, after storming and searching their homes.
