On Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Walaja village, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, and killed a young man.
Media sources said several military vehicles invaded the village before the soldiers fatally shot Mo’taz Hamza Hussein Al-Hajahla, 21.
The sources added that the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from approaching the young man before taking his corpse to an unknown destination.
The Israeli army claimed the young man attempted to stab and snatch the weapon of a soldier before he was shot.
The soldiers also invaded and violently searched a few homes in the village and assaulted a young man, Baha’ Khaled Al-Arash, in his home.
In related news, the soldiers invaded ‘Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, stormed homes, and abducted a young man, Ahmad Na’im Abu Khader, 20.
It is worth mentioning that, since the beginning of this year, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have killed 157 Palestinians, including 27 children, five women, 53 who were assassinated and one who was killed by a colonizer, in the occupied West Bank.
Since October 7, 2023, 992 Palestinians were killed, among them 24 who were killed by illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers, and 288 who were assassinated, in addition to 200 children, 21 women, 1 journalist, and 15 elderly.
