On Wednesday night, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man after storming town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank. In the central West Bank, an Israeli settler was killed and another was wounded when an unidentified assailant opened fire at vehicles near the Bruchin colony, west of Salfit.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia, sparking protests, while soldiers opened fire at citizens, shooting a young man in the back with live ammunition.

The Arab 48 News website reported that soldiers opened heavy fire towards an ambulance when its crew was attempting to approach the area.

In related news, one Israeli colonizer was killed and another was injured after an unknown assailant opened fire at an Israeli vehicle near the illegal Bruchin settlement, west of Salfit.

Media sources said that army imposed a military cordon on the area before reinforcements arrived and soldiers began a search for the unidentified perpetrator.

The sources added that the assailant opened fire from a moving vehicle and fled the area after wounding two Israeli settlers.

Occupation forces invaded the city of Salfit and the towns of Hares and Bruqin, northwest and west of Salfit, and forced shop owners to close, while reconnaissance drones and a helicopter hovered overhead.
