On Thursday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, ransacking dozens of homes before assaulting a family and detaining at least 70 Palestinians.
Media sources reported that numerous military vehicles invaded the refugee camp before soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes, causing significant property damage.
They added that the soldiers assaulted Amjad Najjar, his wife, and their children inside their home, inflicting cuts, bruises, and a fracture in Amjad’s wife’s arm.
Amjad serves as the head of the Public Relations Department of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS).
Additionally, soldiers invaded Beit Kahil town, north of Hebron, and Deir Al-Asal village, west of the city, searching and ransacking multiple homes. They also detained and interrogated several Palestinians.
