Israeli navy ships attacked, on Saturday morning, Palestinian fishing boats in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, abducted two fishermen, and confiscated equipment.

The Palestinian Fishermen Syndicate said in a statement that the attack took place less than six nautical miles from the Gaza shore.

It identified the two abducted fishermen as Mohammad Wael Bardaweel, and his brother Ahmad.

The two Palestinians, and the confiscated fishing gear and equipment, were later transferred to Ashdod Port.

It is worth mentioning that, on Friday at night, the navy fired many live rounds at Palestinian fishing in Gaza territorial waters.
