On Sunday evening, Israeli navy ships fired many live rounds at a Palestinian fishing boat in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip, wounding a father and his son.
Media sources said the father and son were fishing only four nautical miles from the Rafah shore.
They added that the Navy fired many live rounds at them, moderately wounding them before moving them to a hospital in Rafah.
The attack forced the fishermen in the area to leave and return to the shore in fear of further Israeli violations.
On Friday afternoon, Israeli forces injured dozens of Palestinians, including a photojournalist, at demonstrations held at different sites along the eastern border fence, in the besieged Gaza Strip.
On Friday evening, Israeli occupation tanks fired artillery shells, while military aircraft fired missiles at an alleged resistance site, east of Gaza City, along the eastern border of Gaza, causing damage and one injury.
It is worth mentioning that, on Wednesday, five Palestinians were killed and twenty-five injured, on Wednesday, as a result of an unidentified explosive device where dozens of Palestinians gathered along the border fence, east of Gaza City.
A week ago, the Israeli Navy carried out several attacks against Palestinian fishermen and abducted two fishermen, while the army opened fire at Palestinian farmers, on Sunday morning.
The attacks are part of constant Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, and resulted in dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to severe property damage and the confiscation of many boats after abducting the fishermen.
