Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, the parents of a young Palestinian man, from the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, who was killed by Israeli army fire in early May of this year.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers invaded the Shweika area, north of Tulkarem, searched homes before abducting Khaled Mohammad Di’bas, 56, and his wife Fadwa Atiya Di’bas, 51.

The PPS added that the two Palestinians are the parents of Abdullah Khaled Di’bas, who was shot and killed by Israeli army fire on May 7th of this year.

Abdullah Di’bas and another Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Ayman Fanni, from Tulkarem refugee camp, were killed and a third Palestinian was injured, after they reportedly fired live rounds at soldiers at the Salem military base, west of Jenin.
